A Representative from the California State Athletic Commission will be monitoring the weigh-ins Saturday, July 18, 2015

The Gates Will Open: 2 p.m.

The First Bell Will Ring: 4 p.m.

Entire Event: 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door $25

WHO: Councilmember Jose Huizar, Fourteenth District LAPD Boxing Team Los Angeles Police Department Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department West Covina Police Department Pasadena Police Department Los Angeles Fire Department Big Bear Fire Department US Marshall’s Office – San Diego

WHY: The LAPD Boxing Team is hosting a charity boxing event to benefit the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation in raising funds. In the past, the charity boxing event has been a tremendous success.

This is the first time the Los Angeles Police Department Boxing Team is working closely with councilmember Jose Huizar in coordinating the outdoor boxing matches.

The Los Angeles Boxing Team will be competing with boxers from several other agencies listed above. The spectators will have the opportunity to enjoy a beer garden hosted by 911 Entertainment, Food Trucks, Live DJ music, LAPD static displays and exciting boxing matches between the Los Angeles Police Department vs. several other law enforcement agencies.

The boxing team is encouraging everyone to attend the boxing event of the year to support the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation and the officers who will be competing in the event.

Street Closures: Spring Street will be closed from Temple Avenue to 1st Street. 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
