Pedestrian Critically Injured in Hit & Run NR15320ml

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver responsible for a Hit and Run Traffic Collision leaving a woman critically injured.

On September 18, 2015, at about 9:45 p.m., the victim, was walking in marked crosswalk at the intersection of Figueroa Street and Avenue 55 in Highland Park, when she was struck by a white 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer with a California license plate number of 4ZCG222, as it traveled northbound on Figueroa Street.

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and identify themselves or render aid.

The victim, a 51-years-old female Hispanic was transported to a local hospital for her injuries where she remains in critical condition.
