Man Found Murdered in the Silver Lake Area NR15907aj

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Division Homicide detectives are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of 19-year-old Oscar Sandoval Jr.

On November 29, 2015, around 10:15 p.m., Northeast patrol officers responded to a “shots fired” radio call in the 1300 block of Allesandro Street. When officers arrived, they found Sandoval Jr. behind the wheel of a Nissan Xterra, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Sandoval Jr. dead at scene.

The motive of this incident appears to be gang related. The investigation is ongoing.
