DETAILS: The Association of Black Law Enforcement Executives (ABLE) respectfully invites you to join us as our guest at our 6th Annual Black History Month Celebration. In lieu of our annual Black History Luncheon, join us at the Los Angeles Police Museum. The theme of this event is “The Power of a Dream”. Enjoy historical photos, displays, video footage, and refreshments. Come hear about the rich history of African Americans on the Los Angeles Police Department, as well as take a tour of the museum. We anticipate approximately 200 guests to attend from law enforcement, governmental leaders, and the communities we serve.

The Association of Black Law Enforcement Executives was established in 1974 by a group of sworn management level African American Los Angeles Police Department personnel with a shared mission dedicated to promoting mentoring, organizational and community leadership, and enhancing the department’s community policing efforts.
