Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying
two Robbery suspects.

On February 9, 2016, around 12: 50 p.m., the suspects drove in
front of a residence at 3800 block of Amesbury Road, in the Los
Feliz area of Los Angeles.

The suspects sat in their car in front of the residence for
approximately 20 minutes and observed the patterns of the
homeowners. Once the homeowner left the residence to walk her dog,
the suspects went up to the front door of the residence and opened
the front door to commit a burglary.

The suspects heard people inside of the house and fled without
taking property. The suspects possibly cased the area two days
prior to the incident.

One hour later and less than one mile away, the same suspects broke
into a residence in the 2500 block of Aberdeen Avenue, and began
ransacking the home.

An employee of the residence was inside at the time and confronted
the suspects. The suspects ran from the home with the victims’
property. During the encounter, one of the suspects was armed with
a handgun and pointed it directly at the victim, dissuading her
from chasing them.

Suspect-1 is described as male white, standing at 5 feet 8 inches
to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 140-160lbs, and is around
20 to 30 years-old.

Suspect-1 was wearing a black baseball cap, black shoes, black
pants, and a black t-shirt with the logo “Bow Down Clothing” on the
back. Suspect-1 has tattoos on both forearms.

Suspect-2 is described as a male white, standing at 5 feet 5 inches
to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 130-150lbs, and is around
20-30 years old.

Suspect-2 was wearing a red shirt with the word “Carlsbad” on the
back, black pants, black shoes, and has tattoos on both
forearms.

Both suspect #1 and Suspect #2 are smokers and are seen on video,
smoking prior to the incident.

The suspects vehicle is described as a 2014-2015 Silver Kia Optima
with no front license plate, but does have a license plate in the
rear.

• Detectives are asking residents in the area to check their
surveillance cameras for the date and times. Detectives believe
that someone’s surveillance system may have captured a license
plate of the suspects vehicle.
