LAPD’s Unified Command Post Open to the media for a behind the scenes view on May day NA17083lp

WHAT: The Unified May Day Command Post will be available to the media for a behind the scenes look at how operations work between the various Los Angeles City Unified agencies.

WHEN: Monday, May 1, 2017 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. or 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.

WHERE: Real Time Analysis and Critical Response Division (RACR) 500 East Temple Street Los Angeles, California 90012

DETAILS: May Day 2017 will focus on immigration rights, health care reform, labor rights and various other interests. There will be three march routes commencing at three different locations and times. All LA City Unified Command agencies will operate from a Unified Command Post located at RACR Division.

The media will have an opportunity to experience a behind the scenes look at the Unified Command Post.
