Shooting Suspects Sought in Hollenbeck Division NR17156dm

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect, or suspects, involved in an early morning shooting.

On May 25, 2017, around 2:05 a.m., Hollenbeck patrol officers responded to a “Shots Heard” radio call in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. When officers arrived, they were directed to an RV parked on the street. Inside the RV was a 15-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was asleep inside the RV when he was shot. The suspect, or suspects, fled the location. There is no suspect description.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition, following surgery.
