DETAILS: On Thursday, June 15th, the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs’ Association, along with several Los Angeles County police agencies, will kick-off the 2017 #PinkPatchProject, an innovative campaign designed to increase public awareness about breast cancer and to raise funds for the fight against the disease. The #PinkPatchProject centers on vibrant pink versions of the agency’s uniform patches. The patches are intended to stimulate conversation within the community and to encourage public awareness in the early detection and fight against the disease.

This is the first year the LAPD has been a part of the #PinkPatchProject and is excited to release their inaugural patch. The patch will be available for purchase to members of the community through the City of Hope online store, The Parker Foundation and the Los Angeles Police Historical Society Museum. All proceeds from the sale will go to fund breast cancer education, research, and treatment.
