The Mayor’s Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) Office Summer Night Lights Program is Hosting a Softball Game

WHAT: LAPD Hollenbeck Team vs All Star Community Softball Players

WHEN: Friday, August 18, 2017 6:00 p.m. -Dodger Clinic for the kids 7:00 p.m. -National Anthem, Opening remarks, First Pitch 7:30 p.m. -DJ music and kid’s games plus players warm up 8:00 p.m. -Game Starts

WERE: Lou Costello Jr. Recreation Center 3141 East Olympic Boulevard Los Angeles, Ca 90023

Players: LAPD Captain Ruby Flores, Commanding Officer, Hollenbeck Area Hollenbeck Personnel All Star Community players Alumni Dodger player, Kenny Landreaux will be present

WHY: In celebration of a great year for the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program which has been going strong since June. Hollenbeck Area Police Officers have been attending Summer Night Lights programs at 5 parks, where they have been engaging with the community, from cooking to playing games, and making a difference in how we work together to live and work in a safe place. Event is free and open to all community members. Summer Night lights will be providing free food, prizes, music, games, and more. Come and enjoy a friendly competitive softball game, prizes, and a special Dodger guest!
