WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 8-19

WHO: LAPD Chief Michel Moore Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 38 officers. Of the 30 LAPD officers, there are 27 males and 11 females with the following ethnic breakdown: 6 Caucasians, 19 Hispanics, 6 African-American, and 7 Asians. The graduating officers will have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.

In addition to LAPD, 4 Los Angeles Port Police Officers will be also graduating.
