LAPD Cadet Parent Academy

What:
Cadet Parent Academy

When:
First course starts Saturday, September 7, 2013
9:00 am until 12:30 pm

Courses will he held every Saturday starting September 7 until October 26, 2013.
Starting time will be 9 am until 12:30 p.m.

Where:
Deaton Hall (LAPD Headquarters)
260 South Main Street
Los Angeles, CA 90012

Who:
LAPD subject matter experts

Why:
The Parent Academy is for adult family and friends of Cadet Recruits.  The Academy consists of 8 advanced level courses which include alcohol abuse, narcotics drug recognition, Gang education, internet crimes against children, and more.  All courses are taught by LAPD subject matter experts.  Courses will be taught in ENGLISH and SPANISH.  

Parents must complete all 8 sessions to participate in graduation ceremony with Cadets.
