The Central City Police Boosters are sponsoring a motorcycle ride to benefit Los Angeles Central Area kids and crime prevention programs. The event will include a short and scenic ride with stops at the Harley Davidson Glendale dealership and other Los Angeles locations. This year's Grand Marshall will be actor/police reserve officer, Mickey Jones.
At the conclusion of the 3rd Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride, event emcee and KLOS radio show personality Al Ramirez, will welcome participants to a barbecued lunch and invite them to enjoy music performed by the 1960's Rock n' Roll band "The Boys." Riders will also have an opportunity to meet with celebrities, win prizes, participate in a silent auction, view static displays, shop motorcycle vendors and meet with other bike enthusiasts.
