Heightened Alert Issued During Passover

Los Angeles: While there is no specific threat associated with Passover, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) will be on heightened alert to possible terrorist activities during the period of April 5, 2004, to April 13, 2004.
The Los Angeles Police Department will remain vigilant in their efforts to check critical targets. The LAPD encourages all residents to remain aware and to report any suspicious activities to the Department’s Terrorism Threat Assessment Center, at 213-485-4391 or 1-877-A-THREAT.
