Officer Brian Brown's Funeral Notice

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Wednesday, December 2, 1998

We regret to announce the death of Police Officer III Brian E. Brown, Serial #32054, Pacific Area, who was killed in the line-of-duty on Sunday, November 29, 1998.

Officer Brown was born on September 3, 1971, in Kalleen, Texas. He was appointed to the Department on September 5, 1995.

Police Officer Brown is survived by his son, Dylan; father, Dennis; mother, Emily Calvert; stepmother, April Brown; stepfather, Richard Calvert.

All personnel shall wear Class A uniform with hat. ALL PERSONNEL SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR RAIN.

Morotcade Information: All marked Blk/wht vehicles that wish to participate in the Friday morning motorcade shall report to the staging area at the Hollywood Bowl, 2100 N. Highland Ave between 0700 and 0830 hours. All other personnel and vehicles should report to Forest Lawn by 0930 hours. Once the motorcade starts at the Bowl, 0930 hrs, all other traffic will be stopped for about one hour.
