Communications Division Spreads Holiday Cheer

On Friday, December 17, 1999, between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM, LAPD Communications Division will be delivering two truck loads of holiday gifts to the Salvation Army's Adopt-a-Family located at 8111 Page Street, Apartment "P", in Buena Park, California. The gifts will be given to a family of seven, a mother with four children and two elderly parents.

If news media responds, do not contact family until after LAPD has arrived at above address.

LAPD Communications Division, 9-1-1 dispatchers and police officers, look forward to giving joy to the lives of a family who might not otherwise have a joyous holiday.

If you have any questions, please contact Lieutenant Ted Steiner, Communications Division at 213-485-3223.
