North Hollywood Area Hosts Children's Holiday Party

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Thursday, December 9, 1999

On Saturday, December 11, 1999, between 11:30 A.M. and 2:30 P.M., the North Hollywood Area Community Relations Office and East Valley Police Activity League Supporters (PALS) is hosting a children's holiday party.

The holiday party is held for children involved in the Junior Deputy Police Program, many of which are from local needy families.

The party will include approximately 50 children and Santa Claus will provide each child with a donated toy.

The holiday atmosphere at the Station has been greatly enhanced by props from the recent Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "Jingle All The Way."

The decorations can be seen from a block away and have attracted a number of sightseers.

All inquiries should be directed to Sergeant/Santa Claus Bill Martin in North Hollywood Community Relations Office at 818-623-4001.
