Five Armed Gunmen Rob Pizza Restaurant

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Thursday, December 9, 1999

On Wednesday, December 8, 1999, at 8:30 PM, five armed gunmen entered a Pizza Restaurant in the 1700 block of Westwood Boulevard and ordered the employees into the office.

The 5 suspects, all described as male, Black, 22-23 years, wearing gray hooded sweatshirts, searched the office and removed U.S. currency from the cash register. During the robbery, one employee was struck over the head with the barrel of a gun and required six stitches to close the laceration. The suspects' vehicle was described as a 1970's gray Cadillac with a partial license number of "2LA----."
