Los Angeles- On Friday, December 15, 2000, at approximately 3:50 a.m., the victim, a 36 year old male Korean with wife and daughter residing in an apartment building in the 4400 Block of Wilshire boulevard were awoken by their dog barking. The victim went to investigate and confronted the suspect inside the apartment. The suspect brandished a handgun and shot the victim one time in the shoulder area.
