14th Annual Special Children’s Holiday Party

When:
Saturday, December 8, 2001
12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Where:
Hollywood Community Police Station
6501 Fountain Avenue, Los Angeles

Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Area Community Police Station, the Hollywood Police Support Association (HPSA) and the Hollywood Police Activities League (PAL) are sponsoring a special children’s holiday party.

This 14th annual party will give over 1,000 children and their families a traditional holiday celebration, including a meeting with Santa, gifts, lunch and entertainment. The children will also have a chance to meet members of the police department, as well as business and civic leaders from the community. A core of LAPD officers and citizen volunteers will plan and produce the party, which has been funded entirely by the generous donations from local area businesses and community members.

For further information, contact Officer Chantelle Barret or Theresa Sterling at Hollywood Area Community Police Station, 213-485-4310.

This media advisory was prepared by Public Information Officer Jason Lee, Media Relations Section, 213-485-3586.
