Dead Man Discovered in Vehicle

 

 

 

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of Galacion Fernandez, a 41 year-old male resident of Pacoima.

Los Angeles Police Department Foothill Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of Galacion Fernandez, a 41 year-old male resident of Pacoima.

On December 2, 2002, at 2:28 a.m., LAPD Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a "415 Man Disturbance" radio call in the 13500 block of Wingo Street in Arleta. Upon arrival, officers observed a dead male sitting inside a green Ford Thunderbird, the victim of a shooting.

The investigation revealed that Fernandez was shot several times by unknown suspects. The motive for the shooting is unknown and no weapon was recovered.

The investigation is being conducted under the direction of Lieutenant George Rock, Officer-In-Charge, Foothill Area Detectives.
