Department of Children & Family Services Investigation"

Los Angeles: In February 2003, the Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) contacted the Los Angeles Police Department and requested assistance in conducting a welfare check on a child that had been featured in a Michael Jackson documentary. A Los Angeles Police Department detective accompanied a DCFS caseworker to make contact with the child at an address that had been provided to DCFS.
