Los Angeles: On Tuesday, December 16, 2003, at about 7:00 p.m., 77^th Street Area Community Police Station and Mothers On the March (MOM) will hold its Annual Holiday Tree Trimming in the lobby of 77^th Street Station in remembrance of the lives lost to violent crime in 77^th Street Area. Mothers On the March (MOM) provides support and referral services to, 77^th Street Area mothers who have lost children as a result of violent crime.

Each participant is asked to bring an ornament to hang on the tree in the lobby of the 77^th Street Community Police Station, and unwrapped toy. The event will bring together law enforcement, local businesses, outreach groups, gang counselors, LAPD Explorers, several local churches, in order to remember the victims and families of violent crime during the holiday season. All community members and families are invited to participate.
