Annual Adopt-A-Family

 

Los Angeles- Professional Standards Bureau Annual Adopted-A-Family have adopted the Garcia family during this Christmas Holiday.

On April 30, 2003, 33 year-old Antonio Garcia was working as a taxi cab driver in the 600 block of Cage Avenue, when he was shot and killed during an attempt robbery. Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife Annette Garcia, 12 year-old son Oscar, 8 year-old son Eddie and 1 year-old daughter Kimberly. Mr. Garcia was the sole provider for the family.

On December 18, 2003, at 9:30 a.m., Professional Standards Bureau, along with officers from Newton Area Patrol Division will be going to the Garcia’s residence located at 1349 East 43rd Place, Los Angeles. Officers will be delivering a Christmas tree, gifts and cash for the family.
