Armed Robbery Suspects Caught on Video

Los Angeles: On November 21, 2003 and December 12, 2003, masked armed gunmen committed robberies at two small neighborhood markets in the Sylmar area of Los Angeles. The suspects, who were armed with a rifle and a handgun, ordered customers to lay on the ground during the robberies.

The suspects are described as Black males, 5’10" to 6’0", 170-180 lbs., 20-25 years of age. The suspects possibly left in a blue Chevy Lumina. One of the suspects was wearing a multi-colored jacket embroidered with "Notre Dame The Fighting Irish".

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous. The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects, who briefly unveiled their face during the robberies.

The surveillance videos from both robberies are available at the Media Relations Section.
