Detectives Investigate Fatal Collision

 

Los Angeles: On Sunday, December 28, 2003, at about 12:55 p.m., a vehicle verses mini-motorcycle traffic collision occurred at Juniper Street and 103rd Street, which resulted in the death of an 8 year old boy.

Robert Rena James III, 8 years old, was driving a mini-motorcycle southbound on Juniper Street when he failed to stop for a posted stop sign at 103rd Street. James entered the intersection and was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on 103rd Street. The driver of the vehicle stopped and rendered aid.

Robert Rena James III was transported to Martin Luther King Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
