Gang Related Shooting Leaves 15 Year-Old Dead

 

Los Angeles: 77th Street Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of 15 year-old Dante Mosley that occurred on Tuesday evening, December 30, 2003, at about 6:45 p.m.

Mosley was walking on the sidewalk in the 1100 block of West 47th Street when a vehicle approached him. An unknown number of male Black suspects exited the vehicle and fired several rounds at Mosley. The suspects then got back into their vehicle and sped away.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced Mosley dead at the scene.

The motive appears to be gang related.

There is no further description of the suspect(s).
