"Four Year-Old Abducted by Father"

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting that the media provide the public with the following information to assist law enforcement efforts in locating a missing child.

On December, 25, 2004, at about 8:00 a.m., the suspect, 26 year-old Jesus Gust Cano, was at the parking lot of a hamburger restaurant, located on the corner of Indiana Street and Olympic Boulevard, to pick up his four year-old daughter for a supervised visit per a court order. While distracting the child's aunt, who was supervising the visit, the suspect fled the location with the child.

The suspect may be headed for Tijuana, Mexico with the child.

The suspect is a male Hispanic with black hair, brown eyes, 6' tall, 200 lbs. He was last seen driving a black 2-door 1965 Chevrolet Impala. The child's name is Axiom Cano.

Anyone with information is requested to call Hollenbeck Area Police Station, at 213-485-2942.

On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at the Detective Information Desk, at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
