Child Kidnap/Molestation Suspect Sought

Los Angeles: Rampart Sex Crime Detectives are asking the public's assistance in locating a suspect who is wanted in connection with a kidnap and child molestation, which occurred in the Rampart Area on December 18, 2004.

The suspect approached an 11-year-old male victim and asked for directions. When the victim ignored the suspect, the suspect exited his vehicle, applied a bear hug and forced the victim into his vehicle. The suspect drove the victim to a secluded area in the 2500 block of Aberdeen Avenue and sexually molested him. After the assault, the suspect drove the victim to the area of Los Feliz Avenue and Vermont Avenue , where the victim was ordered out of the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 25-30 years of age, thin build, dark skin, acne/pock-marked face, and a mole on left cheek or chin area. The suspect was wearing a blue "LA” baseball cap, blue sleeveless (sleeves possibly cut off) shirt and dark pants.
