17-Year-Old Female Kidnapped

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Division is investigating the kidnapping of a 17-year-old female Hispanic.

On December 2, 2005, at about 1:15 PM, Wilshire Area patrol officers responded to a shooting report near 7th Street and Ardmore Avenue in the Koreatown area. Witnesses said the female Hispanic was standing on the corner of 7th Street and Ardmore Avenue when a 2002 metallic tan Ford SUV, license number 5RKY569, stopped and the driver yelled to the female to get into the vehicle. The female refused. Witnesses then heard what sounded like a gunshot and saw the driver exit the vehicle and force the female Hispanic into the vehicle. The vehicle drove away from the scene.

Detectives' follow-up investigation resulted in identifying the driver as 33-year-old Samuel Estuardo Herrera. He is a Hispanic, 5 9, 200 lbs. He was last seen wearing a light color T-shirt, dark baseball cap, khaki color shorts and white tennis shoes. He has multiple tattoos.

The kidnap victim was identified as Alicia Robles and she is 5' 7", 140-150 lbs. with brown hair in a ponytail and was wearing a pink sleeveless T-shirt.
