News Conference, $50,000 Reward Offered

What:
News conference to announce a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect wanted for murdering a newborn in 2004.

When:
Thursday December 22, 2005
11:00 a.m.

In front of Parker Center
150 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles

Who:
Captain Anita Ortega,
Commanding Officer Juvenile Division
Abuse Child Unit Detectives

Why:
Detectives from Juvenile Division are requesting the public's assistance in solving the murder of a newborn baby girl that occurred on December 21, 2004.  The baby was found in the crawl space of an apartment building in the 2900 block of Wynwood Lane, Los Angeles.

Additional:
A Spanish-speaking detective will be available to address the media
