Los Angeles: Hollenbeck Detectives are investigating the shooting death of 26-year-old Juan Carlos Landaverde who was shot to death while sitting inside of his parked car.

On December 25, 2005 at about 7:00 p.m., Juan's car was parked at the Pronto Gas Station located at 918 North Soto Street.  An unknown suspect(s) walked up to the victim's car, fired multiple rounds at him, striking him several times.  He was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Currently, the motive has not been determined and there is no suspect description.
