9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Intersection of 8th Street and Pacific Avenue
11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Crosswalk located at 1414 West 25th Street
Who:
South Traffic Division, Community Traffic Services Unit and
Harbor Area Community Relations Office
Why:
To heighten holiday traffic awareness in San Pedro's business district corridors, an LAPD officer dressed as Santa Claus will be crossing streets in marked crosswalks. South Traffic motor officers will stop vehicles and issue citations or warnings to motorists who violate Santa Claus' "right of way."
