Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Metrolink NR12559LG

Los Angeles:  On December 6, 2012, around 4:48 p.m. a Metrolink commuter train travelling eastbound just west of Tampa Avenue and south of Nordhoff Street had a fatal collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, who died at the scene, was described as a white male in his early 30s.  His identity is being withheld pending positive identification and notification of family members.

There were 19 passengers on-board the train, and no other injuries occurred as a result of the collision.
