Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) NRF041-20dm

On September 23, 2020, around 6:30 a.m., an officer assigned to Devonshire Patrol Division was conducting a weapons inspection at the trunk of his patrol vehicle. He accidentally discharged a single round from his patrol rifle down into the trunk of his vehicle.

The round from his rifle impacted the trunk of the patrol vehicle.

No officers were injured during the incident.

Force Investigation Division is handling the administrative investigation.
