Suspect Shot Ex-girlfriend's Companion

Los Angeles: On Sunday, June 9, 2002, at approximately 9:00 P.M., Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a citizen generated radio call regarding multiple shots fired in the 14600 block of Rayen Street, in Panorama City. Upon their arrival, the officers located the victim of several upper body gunshot wounds lying on a sidewalk. LAFD rescue ambulance personnel transported the victim to Holy Cross Hospital, where he remained in critical condition following surgery.
