"Panorama City Man Found Shot to Death"

Panorama City - On Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at approximately 4:00 AM, Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a "Shots Fired" call at 8407 Cedros Avenue, in Panorama City. Upon their arrival the officers were met by Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics, who directed the officers to the body of a male victim. The victim was found dead from gunshot wounds in a common hallway within the apartment complex.

The victim has been identified as Christopher Newsome, a 22 year old resident of Panorama City.

There is no suspect(s) description at this time. The motive for this crime is under investigation.
