Northridge Area Resident Dies in Solo Vehicle Traffic Collision
Los Angeles: A man in Porter Ranch runs off the roadway and detectives are searching for witnesses.
On January 3, 2009, at around 5:40 in the morning, a solo vehicle traffic collision occurred on Tampa Avenue near Pine Valley Road in Porter Ranch.
The 2004, two-door, white Toyota Solara, was being driven by a male when the car ran off the roadway, collided with a street light, and several trees before coming to a stop.
The driver and only occupant, a resident of Northridge, California, died as a result of his injuries. Identification of the deceased is being withheld pending notification to his family.
Valley Traffic Division Detectives are conducting the investigation and are searching for additional witnesses who may have information about the collision.
