Victim Gets Attacked and Sexually Assaulted in Her Home

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Friday, February 12, 1999

On February 11, 1999, at about 2:00 A.M., a resident of Venice was attacked and sexually assaulted in her apartment. Using the victim's keys, the attacker locked the victim in her apartment and stole her vehicle.

The suspect is described as a male Black, 5 foot 7 inches, 150 pounds, and 30 years of age. The suspect has a light to medium complexion and is clean-shaven. His hair was very short, possibly shaved.

The victim's vehicle is a 1996 Volkswagen Jetta 4-door, metallic beige in color. The vehicle displayed California license plate 3NTN785 when taken. If this vehicle is seen, please telephone 9-1-1 immediately.
