Home Invasion Robbery in Encino

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Tuesday, February 9, 1999

On Monday, February 8 at approximately 2:30 P.M. a victim, described as a female Hispanic, was working alone inside of a residence in the 4100 block of Alonzo Avenue, in Encino.

Two male Hispanic suspects knocked at the front door, the victim answered the door and the suspects forced their way in and restrained the victim in the bathroom. The suspects, armed with a handgun, ransacked the residence taking electronic equipment, jewelry and other items from the residence.

The suspects left the residence, leaving the victim restrained in the bathroom. She was able to gain her freedom and call the police. The victim was not physically harmed.
