Police and Family Seek Publics Assistance in Locating Missing Person

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tuesday, February 29, 2000


Los Angeles - On February 17, 2000, at 10:15 a.m., missing person Vasilios "Bill" Marmaras was last seen in the 17000 block of Plummer Street in Northridge, CA. The MP is described as a male Caucasian, 6'00', 170 lbs., 42 years old, shoulder length brown hair, and hazel eyes. According to family members, Marmaras was despondent over his restaurant business. He hand wrote a will and left at his residence. Family members claim that Marmaras walked from his business and never returned.

Anyone with information are asked to contact Detectives Valadez and Bowie, at the Los Angles Police Department Missing Persons Unit, at 213-485-5381.

The Missing Person's family will handle all press contacts and provide additional photographs. The family contact person who has agreed to do interviews is:
