Deceased Man Found in Trunck of Vehicle

Tuesday, February 22, 2000


Pacoima-On Tuesday, February 22, 2000 at 4:45 PM, Foothill Area patrol officers responded to an "Ambulance Death Investigation", call at 14200 block of Chamberlain Street. Upon arrival, the officers were met by LAFD Paramedics who indicated a dead body was in the trunk of a silver colored vehicle.
The initial investigation by Foothill Homicide Detectives did not reveal the cause of death or the identity of the decedent. The decedent was described as a male Hispanic, Approximately 20 to 30 years of age, with a mustache and a goatee.

The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the assistance of the community, asking that witnesses call 818-834-3115 or 818-834-3105.

Foothill Area Detectives, under the direction of Lieutenant Rick Papke, Officer-in-Charge, Foothill Operation Support Division, are handling the investigation.
