Adult Reported Missing

" Adult Reported Missing"

Los Angeles - The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Shamsi Kohanazizi , who was reported missing on January 23, 2001. Shamsi is a female White, 5’01", 135 lbs, gray hair and blue eyes. Shamsi was last seen wearing a blue dress with white polka dots, a long black coat and black shoes. She wears dentures and has a hearing aid in her right ear.

According to the Missing Person’s granddaughter, Jacklin Joakin, Shamsi left her residence on the 1200 block of La Cienega Boulevard and walked to her beauty salon a few blocks away. She never arrived and failed to return home. Shamsi speaks little English and is not familiar with the greater Los Angeles area. She did not take her purse and has no identification on her. Shamsi speaks farsi (persian) and her mental health is described as good.
