Body Found In Dumpster

"Body Found in Dumpster"

West Los Angeles - On Monday, February 19, 2001, at approximately 9.15 a.m., West Los Angeles police officers responded to the rear of 2051 Corning Avenue on a death investigation. Upon arrival, officers were advised by the manager of the apartment building, who observed the body in the dumpster when he was throwing trash. The victim is described as a female Black, approximately 18/20 years of age. The cause of death and the motive for the killing are unknown at this time. No suspects have been identified in this case.

The identity of the victim is not available pending notification of next-of-kin.
