Homicide Investigation

 

Los Angeles - On Tuesday, February 20, 2001, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Rampart patrol officers responded to a radio call "Murder Investigation, Ambulance Enroute," at 1200 Huntley Drive. Upon their arrival at the location the officers found the victim down on the street suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The initial investigation revealed witnesses heard a single gunshot and heard a vehicle drive away from the location.

The victim is described as an unidentified middle age male Hispanic.

The motive for this shooting is under investigation. The suspect, weapon and vehicle are outstanding.

Rampart Homicide Detectives are conducting the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to contact the Rampart Homicide Unit at 213 207-2051.
