Hollywood - On February 22, 2001, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call of a death investigation at 1911 Pinehurst Road. When they arrived, they discovered the lifeless body of a female White, 22 years of age, inside the residence. Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel were called and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim died as the result of numerous stab wounds.

No suspects have been identified at this time and the motive remains unknown. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
