Los Angeles - On Friday, February 23, 2001, at 10:40 p.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an "Ambulance En Route, Shots Fired Just Occurred" in the 13100 block of Terra Bella Street in Pacoima. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male Hispanic down at the scene, the victim of a shooting. Paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim expired at the hospital. The victim was identified as Alan Figueroa, a 19-year-old, male Hispanic and resident of Panorama City.

The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time and the suspects and murder weapon remain outstanding.
