Murder Suspect Arrested - Update

 

Los Angeles: On Sunday, February 10, 2002, at 12:58 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 11600 block of Kismet Avenue. The officers were directed by witnesses to the 11500 block of Fenton Avenue where they located an additional crime scene. The officers observed that a blue BMW vehicle had run through a chain link fence on the eastside of the street. The body of Macario Alcorn a 24 year-old Black male, was located next to the vehicle. Evidence at the scene indicated that he had been shot to death.

**UPDATE**

On Tuesday, February 12, 2002, Foothill Area Detectives served a search warrant in the Van Nuys area and arrested 23 year-old Lee Farris Ezell Jr. without any incident. Ezell was booked for the murder of Marcario Alcorn and is being held in Van Nuys Jail. Bail was set at $1,000,000.00.
