Security Cameras Capture Robbery In-Progess

 

Los Angeles: Hollywood Robbery Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred on Wednesday, January 1, 2003, at approximately 1:00 p.m., at the P and J Liquor Store located at 6480 Santa Monica Boulevard. The incident occurred when two male Black suspects walked into the liquor store. Suspect number two went to the front counter where the store clerk was standing as suspect number one went behind the counter and brandished a handgun. Suspect number one then took money that was located on the side of the cash register then jumped over the front counter and ran out of the store with suspect number two. Both suspects were then seen getting into a waiting vehicle that was parked facing southbound Wilcox Avenue. Suspect number three was driving the vehicle.

Suspect number one is described as a male Black, black hair, brown eyes, 6 ’8" to 7’ tall, 200 to 250 pounds, 35 years of age. Suspect one was wearing a long sleeve gray flannel plaid shirt, blue jeans and a burgundy beanie. Suspect number two is described as a male Black, black hair, brown eyes, 6’ tall, 180 pounds, 35 years of age. Suspect two was wearing a pair of dark colored jeans, ¾ length light colored pull over shirt and a baseball cap. Suspect number three is described as a female Black, short black hair, thin frame, 30/50 years of age. The suspect vehicle is described as a, 1998-2000 black Chevrolet Suburban 4 door.
