"Central Traffic Detectives Investigate a Triple Fatal Traffic Collision "

Los Angeles: On Monday, February 17, 2003, at approximately 2:20 a.m., a triple fatal traffic collision occurred in the 2300 block of Silverlake Boulevard. The driver of a Honda Accord (veh-1) and his passenger were driving northbound Silverlake Boulevard when he crossed over the double yellow lines and collided with the victim’s vehicle ( veh-2), a 1997 Mercury Tracer.

The impact resulted in the death of the driver and passenger of vehicle #2, a 47 year-old, Los Angeles resident and a 53 year-old, Cypress resident.

The passenger of veh-1, a 23 year-old, Glendale resident, was also pronounced dead at scene as a result of the impact.

The driver of the Honda is a 19 year-old, Glendale resident. He is currently listed in critical condition. This investigation is on-going.
