Man Killed in Drive by Shooting

 

Los Angeles: On February 7, 2005, at about 7:30 p.m., 28 year-old Julio Herrera was standing on the side walk near the 2300 block of Santa Ana Boulevard, when two men drove by in a light colored compact vehicle. One of the occupants fired several shots at Herrera striking him in the upper body.

Herrera was transported to a nearby hospital and later died from his injuries.

The motive is gang related and the identities of the two men are unknown.
